Corey recoiled in anger and fear with every word his Uncle said as they cut him deeper and deeper.

They were simple changes, smart changes, things that would make life better for everyone at the firm; he was trying to add value not erase decades of his uncle’s work.

But there was no convincing the crotchety old man!

Once he left the room, there was no going back in.

He’d have to scratch the whole project and wait for the old coot to die.
