What does it mean to be a political person? It’s more than following what’s going on and having outraged opinions about things (me). It’s working together toward the common good (idealistically), I think. Don’t think there’s too much of that in Washington these days.

I surely don’t look at being a political person as a compliment. Why not be an American first.
