The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent $10,000 on a four day vacation, and all the world is in a tizzy.
They were staying at the brand-new, five-star Cheval Blanc Randheli Resort, which opened just last November, on the southern Noonu Atoll. The resort is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy luxury conglomerate, and every one of its 45 villas includes gorgeous views of the Indian Ocean and access to private white sandy beaches.
Baby George didn’t go. He was back in bucolic Buckleberry with his Gramma and Granpa Middleton for a non-royal staycation.
But, why all the fuss? $10,000 is more than I’ve ever spent on a vacation, well, it’s more than I spend on several years worth of vacations, but I’m not a jillionaire royal with endless funds.
The last vacay the POTUS and Mrs. O took to Hawai’i cost several million.
So, again, why all the fuss.
Frankly, I’m more concerned about the Duke’s fashion choices!
Really, who made that shirt? His Grandmother’s milliner?
