A black bustier, leather pants, and stiletto heels do not make UP the proper ensemble for a job interview. Well, unless you’re applying for a job as a stripper.
Even if you add a jacket, it’s just not the look to go for when seeking normal employment.
In my 40 plus years in Corporate America, I’ve seen the demise of the candidate.
Here are some tips.
No tennis shoes.
No white socks.
No leather pants.
No glaring colors.
Say yes to the dress and if you’re a guy, say yes to the suit.
The white shirt.
The nail file.
The shoe brush.
No matter what the job; flipping burgers or filing briefs or running the company, dress for success! You can never make a second first impression.
