My father, Rev. Dr. C. Marvin Brads, Sr. passed away Saturday evening about 7:30.
He would have been 89 on the 28th of this month.
He was a great dad, and I miss him terribly.
I know I’m a lucky man. There are few men my age who have been allowed the gift of having their Daddy this long.
He survived a great deal.
The Great Depression, World War II, 16 Presidents, five children, and parts of 10 decades.
He was a great man, a great teacher, a great preacher, a loving husband for 71 years, and a great father.
I never doubted his love for me, and I never doubted his love for my mother.
I will be travelling this week once the arrangements are made.
If things seem off this week, stick with me, I’ll be back.
I know you’ll understand.
