Thanks for inviting me last night Paul. Had a great time seeing all of you. Felt bad that I was the only teacher there though. Am going to my 45th next weekend and two of my teachers and their wives will be joining us. It IS nice to be remembered for the years you spend with children. Don’t regret a minute of time I spent at the View. You take care and keep those Lattes coming–Mrs. Carson would be proud.

Looks just like every other reunion picture I’ve ever seen of MY high school class! Everyone’s gained weight, everyone looks middle-aged and everyone looks like their parents did! It’s amazing to me! Hope you had lots of fun!
So as I drove by the Eagles Saturday nite Dad says to me, what in the heck is going on? So my reply is oh, it’s the 40th HS reunion for Valley View..his response..why in the world did they pick the Eagles…to which I cracked up laughing and said because half the class is a member of the Eagles!!
I hope you had a GREAT time though!! Your class looks great!
But most importantly, did you get any new readers? I see Ms. Bruns up there!! YAY!!

Hey Paul,
I went to the class reunion looking for 1970 but could not find it. Perhaps Thomas Wolfe was right about not being able to go back. Anyway it was a blast even for a shy guy like me. I think Donna and her band of merry pranksters put on another in a series of fine reunions. I remember thinking that night that some of our classmates were just 200 yards west of us and across the street from our party. I hope not to be among them next time the class of 70 decides to get together. Go ‘70!
