No Direction!
Posted by PaulJun 24
While at lunch Sunday for Father’s Day, my son told me my blog was “all over the place”. He added, “You know, Jenny’s has a purpose, all that mommy crap, your’s is just everywhere.”

My eyebrows went UP.
Then he added, “Kinda like wikipedia. And, sometimes their kinda long.” (I got him to define “kinda like wikipedia” – TMI, too many facts, information overload, too much history! Well now!)
Hmmm, he may be right, and that’s probably why I get no swag!
He’s lucky I’ve nothing to leave him, ’cause he’s out of the will!
And at least he sprung for lunch!

As I said on twitter, the kid needs a kick in the pants.

Um, Donovan was never really your favorite child anyway, right? I love your blog. I have a very good friend who wakes up everymorning and reads your blog and she doesn’t even know you! She just stumbled upon it when I left it on a computer. So, my vote, beeeeee yourself!

“mommy crap”?? Don’t make me go all BonQuiQui on you, Donovan!! Also, I have no direction. If my blog meets your definition of “having direction” you need to change it. I stll love you, man. HOT ROD FOREVER!
And UP – keep doing what you’re doing. Readers like to read someone who is being themselves, and you are!

Hey UP, your blog is one of the first I check almost DAILY, I say be yourself…sometimes finding our voice takes time, but it’s our voice that distinguishes us from all the other million blogs out there.
Keep UP what your doing, buddy!

What do kids know anyway? I only read a handful of blogs and yours in on my Google Feed, would not change a thing.
Jenny, yours is on my Google Feed also – In enjoy reading about all your “mommy crap”! It is hilarious and helps me understand what Andrea deals with everyday while I am at work.

Do you know how much stuff I learn because of your blog!! I read both blogs and those are my 2 primary blogs that I read on a daily basis!! I LOVE IT!! Keep up the good work and whatever direction you go, pretty sure we’ll follow!

I take it the boy has never read Erma Bombeck, Dave Barry or our local Austin yokel, John Kelso.
Tell the boy that your work is observations on life and that is your direction!
Keep on keepin’ on. Remember that a prophet is never appreciated by his family or home town.
Every blog/column you write is unique and interesting and I greatly appreciate that. I look forward to your blog because of how you see, report and interpret life, past and present.

The boy has intestinal fortitude, ya’ gotta’ give ‘im that!!!
I have to confess that I spot read some that are sometimes…(ahem) lengthy.
But be assured, I don’t think you should change a thing.
Hugs and kisses. Your loving (and probably used to be) favrite sister.

I LOVE your blog. And suggest it to everyone. And I don’t think I am that much older than your son if not the same age. As they say on Housewives NJ “go scratch” lol.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion! Those of us who tune in each day to see what’s UP with you…well, we’re of the opinion you’re interesting, educational and unpredictable. And that’s the truth. Amen.
