My baby turns 21 today
I really don’t know how this happened so fast…
I remember a little boy with a wonderful smile…

…who couldn’t wait to drive. Who met his deductible by the end of January each year. Who hated naps, who rarely slept through the night, who adored his big sister and the Gators, and who made me get weepy just to look at him.
He loved the Ninja Turtles, and wanted to put them in the toilet becasue – “they live in the sewer, Dad!” He wanted to help, and was always saying, “I do dat, Daddy!”
He was always drumming…had great timing, and his Mother made this Christmas outfit for him…I’m sure he hated it, but what a great smile.

He. loved his cowboy outfit. His sister had one too…

He entered the Nordstrom Make a Tile Contest, and his was chosen for the floor at the Mall of Georgia…

He hated that picture! And wasn’t thrilled with his Mom for making him make the tile! But, it’s a memory, and it’s still there.
He grew up…

…too fast.
Stopped calling me Daddy and it changed to Dad.
I miss Daddy.
He graduated…

…too soon!
He looked like a Rock Star…

He changed his hair style…
Stayed closed to his sister…and still loves the Gators…

Has a proud Mom and Dad…

Only yesterday I was carrying him around, and now he’s a man.
Happy Birthday, Donovan.
