WHO LET THE DAWGS IN

Michael Vick isn’t happy.

Oh, poor baby.  He’s not really, overtly complaining, but those in the know can tell.

He just isn’t the same old loveable MV that went from the New House to the Dog House to the Big House.   He’s actually thinking about not returning the the Eagles next year.

OK, I’m just not sure he learned anything from that 14 or so months in the slammer.

According to NBC, Vick said “It would be hard, it would be an everyday struggle…” if he returned.

Drug test anyone?

MV says, “But I would have to take that time to hone my skills and get better. I’m excited about the opportunity I have moving forward whether it’s with Philadelphia or another team.”

“I won’t be a Wildcat guy (meaning playing what they want him to play and not being the star quarterback he’s always been). I can’t,” Vick told NBC. “It’s a different style of play. It’s almost like a hit-or-miss type of thing. My position is quarterback. That’s what I was born to do.”  Translation:  he’s not getting his way.

Again, miss a class in prison, Mike?

Has anyone told him it really isn’t his decision?  The Eagles can keep him if they want to.  It will cost the $3.6 million, but it’s their option, not his.  So, he’s lucky to have a job.  I can’t see them paying all that cash for someone they don’t play that much and for someone who doesn’t want to play they way they want him to play.

For $3.6 million, I’d sit the bench, fake a muscle sprain, headache, PMS, whatever!  It’s $3.6 million.

Now, I realize that he had much much more, but after leaving The Graybar Hotel, he had very little, a bleak future, few options, and millions of dog lovers aiming SUVs at him.

Get a grip!

I’m not talking one on the ball, get a grip on reality.

Tony Dungy wasn’t afraid to talk about it…he said, “I told Michael to just worry about this year. It’s technically up to Philiadelphia. If they want him back, he has to stay there.  If they don’t, there are teams looking for quarterbacks, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Wahsington. ”

Dungy also implied that Buffalo is out there, but  a “dark horse”.

Since the Bills practically said they brought Terrell Ownes on for the added press, maybe Michael could just, “shuffle off to Buffalo”.

Just stay the heck away from Atlanta!
