I like the Pedicure, and do my own and have since about 10 years old. My Mother, God rest her soul, started me doing hers when I ws about that age. I kept a large pocket knife as sharp as a razor and she did not hesitate to ask when needed. She let them go until the nails got so thick, it was a chore scraping the down to normal for her comfort. She was so very self reliant, there was little one could do for her, but this she enjoyed it and I was glad to accomodate her, only thinking of her love for me and how she made all my clothes on her sewing machine, etc. These poor people today really don't know what poor is. They should have been around in the Hoover Depression days. I love you.

I'm probably one of the few people in the world that enjoy change. So in that sense, are we sure i'm your kid?? haha :) but i think its easy to give advice and not believe it or do it yourself.. you tell people what you know they need to hear. Which then brings about the haunting of words, when they give it back to you in a similar situation.. hmmm.

I don't like change. I think I handle it well. I adapt easily but I bi**h about it and whine about it a lot. Yet, I have found, and truly believe, all things in life happen for a reason but it is not always easy to see the reason at the time or hang on in the midst of the storm. It's also not easy to always live up to your own advice. Grab your boot strings, you'll be fine.

I'm proud of you! You don't just come in and "punch a ticket" and go, because you care. That is what sets you apart from the rest. I like that you're still there even though you're "not". It just wouldn't be the same without our little quick chats as we're passing in the halls. Me love!

Change can be the super-suck! But it can also be the pathway that leads to something better than you could have imagined before...can't wait to see what that is! Being crowned King o' the Blogosphere perhaps?

You are also prone to say, "People change, get over it."
Today is your use-to-be favorite neice's 38th Birthday, Amy Elizabeth Fisk-Johnson-Sheehan. You remember more about your birth, than I do hers. And I was there!! Scary.
